We stayed for a week in constitution view. The apartment is clean and tidy, equipped with cooking utilities, washing machine, dryer, and most importantly free wifi!
Not to mention the walking distance to the park, restaurants&cafes, also supermarket. Very convenient! Garage is enough for two 7-seater cars (we used Honda Odyssey and Toyota Kluger).
Rod is Great! He greeted us when we arrived to show us the property.
We'll be back for sure!

Just what we were looking for...

.......when we needed somewhere to house three couples (two from UK and one from Oz) who were coming to Perth for our son's wedding. Not the easiest of exercises when we were in UK ourselves and had to trust to the computer and only a fair knowledge of the general area, but it really did work out well. Our guests found themselves in a lovely house in a lovely area and within walking distance of fine restaurants, pubs, cricket grounds, river, CBD etc; good bus (largely free) and train services (and good in-house garaging for two cars) so easy access to the surrounding towns, beaches and countryside. They loved it - the house itself was all that they could have wished for and all in all they had a very enjoyable time at Constitution View. Thanks Rod!

FABULOUS property in a FABULOUS location

This property is fabulous and located in a gorgeous pocket of lovely streets in beautiful East Perth. The free CAT bus stops at the end of the street, the WACA is down the street and just along the river, the Casino is across the river from end of the street and restaurants, kids playgrounds and a mini-mart are just down the road. Want to see the Australia Day fireworks? The are spectacular and feel like they are happening nearly on the doorstep. The kitchen was great, the multiple bedrooms and bathrooms worked terrifically for our party of 3 adults and 2 children and the laundry got a good workout. Very fast internet was also available free of charge and the ducted air-con (with split system boost if required) was terrific in the warm weather. The property owner, Rod, was a delight to deal with from first communication to waving us off as we left. We couldn't have asked for better. Don't stay in a hotel. This property has all you could want AND more.

Great stay and find!

Our whole family of seven (including teens) stayed at this place upon the recommendation of a friend. As this was the first time we tried out rentals instead of the usual hotel stay, we were quite apprehensive especially with the internet scams you read about these days....However right from the booking the owner Rod was most assuring and accommodating even allowing us to pay the rest after the deposit given we were worried ... He even waited for us till past midnight when we flew into Perth to meet up with us to settle us in the house. The house is clean, modern and best of all comes with free Wifi (which was a definite boost for the teens) and the kitchen was fully equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here... for once we could wash clothes and even cook our own meals! The rooms are well furnished and spacious. It is also centrally located so it was easy to move around in the city... Well done Rod and would highly recommend this place and hope we could be back sometime soon in the near future!

We spent 3 nights @constitution view & it was perfect for our weekend break. We walked to the cricket & the trots , spoilt for choice for food & pubs. Couldn't ask for a more perfect home away from home & excellent hosts. Thank you Rod & Terri for your warm hospitality and beautiful home.

This property comes highly recommended by each of the three couples who stayed here for three nights in Feb. A pleasure to live in and so quiet.The surrounding area is pristine and a walk in the nearby parklands is a delight. Restaurants abound(our favourite was The Royal on the waterfont). Great food,friendly staff.Free bus transport system easy to use and punctual!! Many thanks to "mine host" Rod who adds that extra friendly touch to make the stay that much more enjoyable. We hope to return in the future.

We stayed at the Constitution View Apartment for 7 days and we, were 6 guests in total very pleased with the size of the living areas as we were in Perth to visit relatives that we had not seen in years, and it provided amble space when the family came over. Lovely spot so close to the city and local shops and surpisingly a very quiet area to stay. Out host Rod was very obliging in every way and even dropped off a Christmas hamper which we totally appreciated. I would recommend this property as clean, modern, convenient and actually looks like the photos on the web. Thanks Rod we had a fabulous stay.

This property was excellent. Great location in East perth and quiet. We could easily walk to restaurants and with the lock up garage, we could easily park our car underneath. we had an issue with the Shower, but once i contacted Rod, it was fixed by the time i came back to the apartment. Highly recommended!

Having traveled extensively in Australia, we have stayed in a lot of nice places. However, none have compared to Constitution View. It was very simply OUTSTANDING!!!! From the minute Rod met us at the front door to the time that he dropped us at the airport, we were treated like royalty. The property was ideally located for local sightseeing and for day trips. The amenities at the property were first class. Thanks Rod - for showing us "GENUINE SOUTHERN HOSPATILITY" Australian style.

My son, his wife and four friends were visiting us from over East and we wanted a place for them to stay close to the city and all its amenities. Constitution View was PERFECT. Easy access to the city and sights via the CAT bus, close to beautiful restaurants and the walks along the river - just beautiful. The house was quiet, beautifully furnished and just felt like HOME for them. Thank you Rod we may be calling you again for their next visit.

Travelling with friends, we spent the last 4 nights of our WA trip at Constitution View. This was the best accommodation we had by far. Rod was considerate and most helpful, and our stay was wonderful. The property is superb and the location is ideal, with a highlight for us being the Royal Siam Kitchen restaurant - only a 5 minute walk - and the best Thai food we have ever tasted.We will definitely stay here again and have no hesitation in recommending it highly.

We can't praise Rod enough for the outstanding service and standard of this fantastic property! Rod greeted us on arrival and kindly gave us a guided tour and explained points of interest - which made our stay so enjoyable, we instantly fell in love with East Perth. As an added bonus Rod presented us one night with two new board games. Travelling together as two families we found the apartment, spacious, clean and the inclusions hard to beat - the Kitchen is a dream to cook in. We stayed a this magnificent apartment for 4 days coming from the country we used the apartment as a base for our daughters wedding and it was perfect. Rod and Terri greeted us with a bottle of champers on arrival what wonderful people.The apartment was nore than i expected with everything you could possibly need and close to all amentities just absoulutley perfect.Well done Rod and Terri we will definitely recommend this property +++++

Had a great long weekend staying at Constitution View for our girls weekend away - 6 of us stayed very comfortably. Great place with everything you could want. It is in a great location with lots of restaurants in a short walking distance. The free city bus was great just a couple of min walk away. Rod is great and so helpful with any request. Highly recommend to anyone!

Constitution View was absolutely ideal for our 10 night stay in Perth. Location is ideal with restaurants, cafes etc within walking distance. Even though so close to city the neighborhoid is very quiet The townhouse is very modern, clean and comfortable. The Nespresso coffee machine is to die for and now have to purchase one as am addicted. Rod and Terri should be proud that they make their holiday makers stay just that more enjoyable. Will definitely stay here again!

Highly recommend this quality property, has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Very spacious and modern, situated in an ideal location, right near the river and parks (great if you're travelling with young kids). We will definitely be staying here again next time we visit Perth, thanks to Rod the owner also who was very friendly and helpful.

We really enjoyed Constitution View, it was nice and modern and very clean. The area of East Perth was very pretty and lovely to go for walks and enjoyed the cafes near the water in that area.Rod was very helpful and abliging. I would recommend it to anyone.

I can't wait to have an excuse to visit Perth again because this property was so lovely, spacious and had absolutely everything you could need! Just a short walk down to the cafe precinct and a walkable distance into the city but you still with privacy and a quiet setting. We were able to comfortably fit a group of 6 adults. Everything was the best quality - beds, bedding, entertainment and kitchen facilities...we all became adicted to the coffee machine too. Also, it's amazing value for the quality and service you receive.
